We only breed when we want another youngster for showing, but obviously cannot keep all the litter and so occasionally we have quality puppies looking for loving pet homes. I have always bred from dogs and bitches with hip and eye certificates, and am a Kennel Club Accredited Breeder. Puppies are born and lovingly raised in the house (very important), and so are well socialised. They leave here with K.C. registration, Pedigree, copies of both parents hip and eye certificates, worming certificate, diet sheet, general information with regard to vaccinations, training, puppy’s first night, etc. and, above all, help and advice for the whole life of the dog. Indeed, we like to keep in touch with the owners of our dogs and hear of their progress from time to time, and particularly enjoy having visits from them.
Occasionally, we have an older Labrador looking for a permanent pet home. It may be because it hasn’t made it in the show ring, or we have run on too many and need to reduce our numbers. Not everyone wants to go through the puppy stages, and these older dogs are usually well socialised, lead trained, travel o.k., etc.
